The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts has announced a new partnership with the Eastern Festival of Music (EFM) to manage ticket sales and help expand visibility for the region’s beloved classical music festival as it enters a new era.

The Eastern Festival of Music, formerly known as the Eastern Music Festival, will return to Guilford College this summer under new leadership. The reimagined festival will feature 35 performances from June 30 through August 1, continuing its legacy as a cornerstone of the Triad’s cultural landscape. All events will be held at Dana Auditorium on the Guilford College campus.

“We’re excited to partner with the amazing staff at the Tanger Center to help increase awareness of EFM and manage ticket sales,” said Barbara Morgenstern, Chair of EFM. “The Tanger Center shares our vision of promoting classical music and enriching our community.”

The festival will once again blend world-class classical performances with a robust summer educational program. Distinguished faculty and emerging young artists will gather on the scenic campus of Guilford College, offering instruction and performances in the renowned Dana Auditorium, celebrated for its exceptional acoustics.

“EFM is the Triad’s summer symphony,” said Scott Johnson, General Manager of the Tanger Center. “We’re proud to partner with an organization that has played a vital role in promoting the arts for more than six decades and to help expand the reach of its outstanding programming.”

Individuals interested in attending Eastern Festival of Music events can sign up online to receive ticketing information. Subscription sales will begin May 4. For more information on EFM please visit the organization’s website.
