GRAMMY-nominated duo Black Violin has announced their upcoming Be Free Tour, a nationwide run of performances that will bring their signature fusion of classical music and hip-hop to audiences across the United States this fall. The tour launches October 1 in Providence, RI and will visit more than 30 cities before concluding November 22 in Memphis, TN.

Known for redefining what string music can be, Black Violin — comprised of violist Wil Baptiste and violinist Kev Marcus — has spent more than two decades breaking barriers, challenging stereotypes, and inspiring audiences through music that transcends genre. The Be Free Tour continues that mission, inviting audiences into a powerful live experience centered around authenticity, self-expression, and human connection.

More than a concert, the Be Free Tour is a celebration of individuality and creative freedom. Through soaring strings, infectious beats, dynamic visuals, and uplifting messages, Black Violin creates a space where audiences are encouraged to embrace who they are and experience the transformative power of music together.

"Freedom means having the courage to be yourself without limitation," says Black Violin. "This tour is about creating a space where people can let go, connect, and celebrate what makes them unique."

The tour follows a landmark period for the duo, whose impact extends far beyond the stage. Through the Black Violin Foundation, Wil and Kev reach more than 100,000 students annually with educational programs designed to inspire creativity, expand access to music education, and empower the next generation of artists and leaders.

Throughout their career, Black Violin has performed for sold-out audiences around the world, collaborated with artists across genres, and earned widespread acclaim for their ability to bridge cultural and musical divides. Their live performances have become known for their energy, musicianship, and powerful messages of perseverance, creativity, and possibility.

Select dates on the Be Free Tour will feature acclaimed saxophonist and composer Braxton Cook as special guest.

Tickets for the Be Free Tour go on sale June 26th at 10am local time. For tickets, VIP packages, and additional information, visit blackviolin.net.
