Your Safety is Our Focus

Tanger Center is keeping up to date with local and state guidelines. We are taking steps and implementing new policies and procedures in order to make your return to live events as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Here's what we're doing to keep you safe:

GPS Air Filtration System

The Global Plasma Solutions (GPS) cold plasma bipolar ionization system to deliver clean indoor air was recently installed in the Tanger Center. GPS systems using similar technology have been installed in over 150,000 locations worldwide including The White House as well as hospitals and healthcare facilities and numerous colleges, universities and public schools.

Daily Employee Health Screenings

All Tanger Center staff will be required to pass a temperature check and symptom screening questionairre prior to reporting for work. They are also required to wear face coverings, and those in appropriate positions are required to wear gloves.

Face Coverings

Face coverings will be required to be worn over mouth and nose according to recommendations by state and local health officials.

Contactless Procedures

Between contactless payment at concessions and easy mobile ticketing options, we're encouraging patrons to use as many contactless procedures as possible.

Increased Cleaning and Sanitization

Tanger Center will increase the cleaning of high-touch surfaces, including seats, restrooms, and common areas throughout the theater throughout and after each event.

Hand Sanitizer Stations

Hand sanitizer stations are available for use at all entry points and throughout the venue.

Other Measures

  • Disinfecting surfaces, seats, restrooms and common areas throughout and after each performance
  • Requiring patrons to wear face coverings while required by the state of North Carolina
  • Making adjustments in cash management and encouraging patrons to use electronic payments when possible
  • Making adjustments for patron entry (ticket scanning, new timed entry, and encouraging physical distancing as patrons exit)
  • Following new concession requirements as required by the state of North Carolina
  • Encouraging patrons to wash their hands frequently with soap and warm water

Practice the 3 Ws

In order to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of COVID-19, we ask you to join us in practicing the 3 Ws outlined by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services:

  • Wear a cloth face covering
  • Wait at least six feet apart and avoid close contact
  • Wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer
