Guilford College’s Bryan Series enriches the educational and cultural experience for students, faculty and staff of the College and residents of Greensboro and the central North Carolina region by providing speaker programs featuring well-known figures in the arts, humanities and public affairs.
Guilford College Bryan Series
The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts is the new home of the Guilford College Bryan Series.
For 20 years, the Guilford College Bryan Series has presented thought-provoking talks on relevant topics that matter to you. The experts we bring to our region are not just thought leaders; they are paradigm shifters whose ideas spark the next step forward and get us all talking about exciting possibilities. In the past, Guilford College’s lineup has included two former U.S. Secretaries of State, four heads of state, five Nobel Prize laureates, ten Pulitzer Prize winners—and winners of MacArthur Fellowships and Academy, Tony, Grammy and Emmy Awards.
December 2020 Update: Guilford College has made the difficult but necessary decision to present the 2020-21 Bryan Series virtually. All Bryan Series events currently scheduled at the Tanger Center will take place virtually on the same dates and times as originally planned. Guilford College is committed to providing Bryan Series programs in the safest way possible during the pandemic. More information on attending a virtual event, as well as a link to access the show, will be sent to your email address the week prior to the event.
